Abstrak
Kajian ini ingin memperjelas posisi pemikiran kontruksivisme Piaget yang dalam beberapa literatur dianggap sebagai tokoh yang paling berpengaruh dalam pengembangan filsafat kontsruksivisme. Menurut Matthews bahwa upaya konstruktivis yang ditawarkan piageat dengan menghubungkan psikologi dengan epistemologi ditandai oleh ambiguitas. Catherine Fosnot dalam antologi konstruktivis menilai bahwa ciri menonjol dari konstruksivisme adalah watak komposit antara psikologi dengan epistimologi. Klarifikasi teoritis tentang konsep piageat ini menjadi signifikan untuk memosisikan konstruksivisme piageat sebagai teori psikologi atau epistimologi dengan berpijak ambiguitas Matthews atau Watak komposit Fosnot. Model analisis yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah Analisis teori, melalui analisa tentang kerangka dasar psikologis dan epistimologis, kemudian disesuaikan dengan pemikiran konstruksivis Piageat. Dalam kajian konsepsional ini disimpulkan bahwa kontsruksivisme piageat merupakan kerangka epistimologis filosofis yang mendasari skema pemikirannya pada sisi kognitif yang merupakan bagian integral dari teori psikologi.(komposit)
Abstract
This study aims to clarify the position of Piaget's constructivism, which in some literatures is considered the most influential figure in the development of constructivism philosophy. According to Matthews, the constructivist effort offered by Piageat by connecting psychology with epistemology is characterized by ambiguity. Catherine Fosnot in the constructivist anthology considers that a prominent feature of constructivism is the composite character between psychology and epistemology. This theoretical clarification of Piageat's concept becomes significant for positioning Piageat's constructivism as a psychological or epistemological theory based on the ambiguity of Matthews or Fosnot's composite character. The analytical model used in this study is theoretical analysis, through analysis of the basic psychological and epistemological framework, then adapted to Piageat's constructionist thinking. In this conceptual study, it is concluded that Piageat's constructivism is a philosophical epistemological framework that underlies his thinking scheme on the cognitive side which is an integral part of psychological theory.
